212box Office

212box is a multi-disciplinary design firm covering architecture and interiors, product design, graphic design, film and animation. Our expertise is in thinking abstractly but holistically, refining the brief, and ultimately manifesting the solution in a deliverable and inspiring package through architecture and narrative. Behind the coded poplar bark door, lies our office, laden with millwork treasures and an opportunity for clients to view our factory of ideas. Three main rooms stretch out to the city cinematic-ally through 25' long, butt-jointed glass windows. The Products Room showcases art in a gallery setting, the work table for assembly of our products doubles as a ping-pong table and the entire room is used to house 'in-residence artists' studios' for months at a time. The Conference room becomes a theatrical stage for presentations and boasts a 23' long collaboration between 212box and BDDW - three tables: a Patron's coffee table, a work table for Narration and a work table for Architecture - that transform into one long table used for larger meetings or our Secret Dinner Series (and of course there are nine secret drawers hidden within the table for our induction of KeyMasters for our INTO MYSTERY project). The Living Room has a corner view of the Financial District and more importantly, a Rorschach test disguised in four marble book matched slabs.
