About the Item

A stunning, fine and impressive vintage 1.50 carat (total) diamond and platinum solitaire ring; part of our diverse engagement ring collections. This stunning, fine and impressive 1940s diamond engagement ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated, basket style setting displays a feature 1.42Ct Old European round cut diamond, eight claw set to the center of the design. The elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders are ornamented with a total of six pavé set eight-cut diamonds and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the platinum mark (plat). This impressive example of vintage jewelry is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This stunning vintage 1940s engagement ring is fine quality set with a very high color graded principle diamond displaying a fine white color, brilliance and presence.
