An 18 carat gold dome ring set in checkerboard fashion with 7 collet-set princess-cut diamonds and 8 round brilliant cut diamonds weighing an estimated total of 2 carats.
The head of the ring meets the shoulders in a gently geometric form reminiscent of the 1940s to a tapering shank. It is marked with the eagle’s head for 18ct gold and French manufacture, but no makers mark is visible.
