Antique 4.20 Carat Amethyst and Diamond Yellow Gold Cocktail Ring
About the Item
A stunning antique Victorian 4.20 carat amethyst and 0.48 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow and white gold dress ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This stunning, fine and impressive antique amethyst ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with an 18k white gold setting.
The scalloped edged setting is ornamented with a central feature claw set 4.20Ct cushion cut amethyst.
The amethyst is surrounded by a total of eighteen 18k white gold bezel set Old European round cut diamonds.
The trifurcated, shaped and elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the mark for 18k gold (18k), which is worn but legible, in keeping with age.
This antique Victorian amethyst engagement ring in gold is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition
This impressive antique Victorian cluster ring is fine quality set with an impressive amethyst, with minor surface wear in keeping with age, and very high color graded old cut diamonds displaying a fine white color and brilliance. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a partially worn hallmark to the interior of the shank, in keeping with age.
