About the Item
This one of a kind Ring by Tom Castor is a Large but Airy Statement Ring with Detail and Interest at every angle. The unisex ring in the Victorian Gothic, or Steampunk Style features a Spiderweb of openwork filigree and Millegrain Detail. The center stone of this commanding ring is a Natural, Unheated Purple Spinel of 1.96 Carat. The Cushion Cut Gem is of Lavender, Steel, Purple hue and Gem Quality. The bezel set gemstone is surrounded with intricate webbing and is accented on either side by a Round Black Spinel for contrast. Black Spinel are also set on each shoulder of the ring. The twenty-two Black Spinel total 0.60 Carat in weight. The top of the ring is edged with a uniquely shaped Halo that anchors the web. The Halo is set with fifty-two Round Brilliant White Diamonds of F Color and Vs1 Clarity. The Diamonds have a total weight of 0.40 Carat. The entire Ring is made in 18 Karat Gold with a High Polish, Black, Precious Rhodium finish which adds great contrast to the unique Steely Lavender of the Spinel and White of the Diamonds. This Large Statement Ring has a substantial metal weight of 10 Dwts 18K. The 18 Karat gold ring is priced at old gold prices and has not been increased to current market gold prices.
The Ring measures 22mm wide and 28mm in length and 9mm deep on the finger. The shoulder of the ring measures 15mm and tapers to 4mm at the base of the shank.
