A fine and impressive antique Edwardian 0.28 carat diamond, 0.24 carat ruby cocktail ring in 18 karat yellow gold; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This impressive Edwardian ruby ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The ring features a central Old European round cut diamond flanked by six further Old European round cut diamonds and eight round cut rubies displayed in a fairly low profile, oval shaped multi claw / prong setting. The ring shoulders have a feature waisted angular design accented with a faceted cuff at the junction with the plain, fully hallmarked 18k yellow gold shank. The interior of the shank is clearly hallmarked with the 18k gold fineness mark (18), maker's mark (L.W), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor), the gold guarantee mark (crown) and date letter for 1905 (f). This impressive ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. Condition This impressive Edwardian dress ring is fine quality, set with very high color graded old cut diamonds and natural rubies.
