Edwardian Burmese Red Ruby White Diamond Five-Stone Engagement Ring
About the Item
A classic Edwardian five stone ring set with three bright and lively old-cut diamonds and two cushion cut rubies of Thai and Burmese origin.
The diamonds weigh a total of approximately 1.23 carats and are G-H colour and VS-SI clarity (very slightly to slightly included). The rubies weigh a total of approximately 0.75 carats in total and have a Thai and Burmese origin. Neither ruby shows any indication of heat treatment.
The ring is mounted in unmarked but tested 18 carat yellow gold. There are some marks to the interior of the shank which might have been a signature, but these have been worn away.
UK finger size O, US size 7.5, but may be resized with ease.
