Crafted in vibrant 18k gold, the decorative locket serves as an incredible example of the mourning jewelry tradition. A delicate white pearl is pin-set in a gold 8-pointed star; a classic Victorian motif. The pearl and star rest in the center of a bezel-set piece of banded agate, surrounded by a gold twisted rope-like border around the bezel. The agate and pearl are encompassed by a broad gold boarder heavily adorned with black enamel. The enamel script reads "In memory of" on the four points of the cross.
