Lucien Piccard 1970s Siver Double Strand Pendant Necklace
About the Item
A vintage Lucien Pieccard 1970s statement pendant necklace. The two rope chains and pendant are rhodium plate in an antique silver color. The two rope link strands are .38 of an inch in diameter and meet at a satin silver color round push pin box clasp. The shorter top strand is 23 inches long. The longer bottom strand is 23.5 inches long Including the clasp, the total length is 24 inches. the large cut out pendant is embossed with decorative scrollwork that is highlighted with a darker charcoal finish in the crevices. The pendant is lightly domed and measures 2.88 inches wide and 4 inches high including the bale. The back of the pendant is testured in silver and has a horizontal signature plaque inscribed Lucien Piccard with a copyright symbol. Lucien Piccard is a Swiss jewelry and watch company that opened in 1923 and known for their excellent standards of quality. They produced fine gold jewelry, watches and for a short period in the late 1960s and 1970s fashion costume jewelry.
