Édéenne Diamond Bar 18K Yellow Gold Rectangle Pendant

About the Item

Handcrafted in France in our High Jewelry Paris workshop. Titled “Gravity” and designed by Édéenne, artist and founder of Maison Édéenne, the truly one-of-a-kind pendant is a 18K yellow gold minimalist plate of 8 cm by 1.7 cm (3.15 by 0.67 inch) set with a bar of 60 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.50 carat in its center. But there is more! The diamond bar, hold by a magnet, can be removed to wear the pendant casually without diamonds. A 18K yellow gold 41 cm (16 inch) chain is included. The pendant is presented and sold with a colorful rust iron plate that be hung on a wall. Therefore the pendant becomes a sculpture to be enjoyed as a work of art, when not worn. Each piece by Édéenne tells stories with deep meanings. This tribute to contemporary art is “mirror-polished” with a crack in the middle, giving you the opportunity to dive into your soul and discover yourself more deeply. The diamonds inside the split of the mirror represent the shine of your inner personality. The iron plate symbolizes the initial chaos of world made beautiful and the shiny mirror reflects your inner soul, recalling you that you have a role to play for the world’s mercy. True Work of Art, the "Gravity" pendant has been exhibited in Museums worldwide, notably during the exhibition “Maison Édéenne, where Jewelry meets Art” at Museum of Legion of Honor, Paris (2019) and for a solo show at Sotheby’s London (2018) titled “Maison Édéenne, Jewellery Beyond Bespoke”. At this occasion, Sotheby’s wrote “Édéenne sculpts jewels like portraits... [they] will fascinate jewelry and art lovers alike”. Financial Times declared Édéenne "New Gem Star". Her one of a kind sculptural jewels have caught the eyes of Vogue, New York Times, among many others. Art of gifting: the Jewel is presented with Maison Édéenne’s signature Jewelry Box, hand wrapped in purple silk paper. Stamped and hallmarked, the Jewel is accompanied by its a certificate of origin and a personal message from the Artist.
