Rare old necklace, 60s vintage, ceramic and glass, by Denise Gatard, collectibles, total length 47 cm, height 5 cm, weight 60 g, good condition with traces of time, Denise Gatard (1908 - 1991) is a famous French ceramist. A graduate of the School of Applied Arts in rue Duperré, in 1929 she entered the studio of Jean Dunand, one of the great creators of the Art Deco movement and master of lacquer. She learned this technique, worked with gold powder and eggshell. His work is representative of the decorative arts of the 1950s to 1970s. In the 1960s, she abandoned shaped pieces to devote herself to jewelry with ceramic and resin necklaces and tiaras that Michel Faré described as 'precious workmanship.'
