Magnificent and very rare vintage necklace, created In New York city by the iconic master jewelry designer Aldo Cipullo, back in the 1970. This necklace comprises of round onyxes carvings connected by rectangular links and red coral elements crafted with graduated patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Mount with natural gemstones and fitted with a hinged slashed push lock for security. The gold and the squared coral elements designed in an intricate way that is the signature style of Cipullo. This necklace is one of the greatest examples of vintage jewelry workmanship and the genius of Aldo Cipullo jewelry designs.
Red Coral: Mounted in calibrated bezels, with 17 squared pyramids cabochons cuts graduated from 9 mm by 9 mm to 12 mm by 12 mm, carved from natural Sardinian vivid red corals.
Black Onyx: Mount with 17 calibrated round open discs graduated from 20 mm to 37 mm, carved from natural black onyxes.
Birthstone: Coral for the month of October.
Weight: 176.95 Grams, (113.43 Dwt).
Size: The total lenght is 22 Inches (55.8 Cm).
Measurements: The widest part is 37 mm by mm (1.46 Inches).

Cipullo para siempre - Gioiellis
Aldo Cipullo (1942-1984), was an Italian born jeweler. He born and was raise in a family of designers with jewelry traditions, his father was the owner of a jewelry factory and his brother Renato Cipullo made jewelry designs for Christian Dior. Aldo, was the creator of the popular and iconic Cartier bracelets, love and the nail, still until today considered ones of the best designs of the 20th century. He work as a designer in New York, for David Webb (1960-1969) and Cartier (1969-1975). In 1975 he found his own company as a freelance designer.

This geometric sculptural necklace is composed by 15 semicircular curved elements attached with circled links and suited with a discrete push lock with a hinged safety figure 8 for extra security,

Stamped, with the post 1945 Georg Jensen cartouche, the assay hallmark and signed, "GEORG JENSEN NJ 925S 129".
Nanna Ditzel, born in 1923. Was a Danish designer graduated from the furniture department of the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen. Has been studying under prof. Kaare Klint at the Royal Academy of Copenhagen. Nanna Ditzel is working with experimental and industrial design furniture, textiles, silver, faience and glass. Has experimented with the use of split-level living for indoors and outdoors. The ideas have been carried through in playgrounds, children libraries and showrooms. Freelance designer, she has a design office and showrooms in London. Nanna Ditzel started independent design office in 1946 together with Jorgen Ditzel. The co-operation lasted until the death of Jorge Ditzel in 1961.
Nanna Ditzel created many designs for Georg Jensen, mostly jewelry although she also created some hollowware. The relationship between the couple and the Silversmith began when Nanna decided to start designing jewelry as something she could do at home while her children slept. Soon after, a jewelry competition sponsored by A. Michelsen arose, and her designs had won first prize. Later on, in 1954, Finn Juhl, who was developing the 50th anniversary exhibition, passed the design work off for the exhibition to the Ditzels. Five pieces of jewelry were created for this exhibit, which were very well received. Further jewelry designs were created, and many of these pieces would go on to win various awards and prizes. In 1968, Nanna Ditzel remarried to Kurt Heide and relocated to London where they continued to work in the realm of design, establishing their own company Nanna Ditzel Productions Ltd. In 1986, her second husband passed away, and she moved back to Denmark, continuing her work. In recent years, Ditzel has focused mainly on furniture design, such as the Trinidad chair in 1993, however this design has also led to the further refinement for her jewelry pieces such as the bracelet #389 in 1994.
Ditzel has won many major awards during her long career and has had her work exhibited all over the world. She received the silver and gold medals at the Milan Tirennale (1954 and 1960), the Lunning Prize (with Jorgen Ditzel in 1954) and a gold medal at the International Furniture Design Competition in 1990, and the Thorvald Bindesboll Medal in 1999. Gucci, was founded in 1921 in the Tuscany region of Italy, in Florence, when Guccio Gucci bought his own shop on 7, Via della Vigna Nuova in Florence, Azienda Individuale Guccio Gucci, where he sold imported leather luggage. He also opened a small workshop to have his own leather goods made by local craftsmen. Eventually, a larger workshop had to be acquired to house Gucci's 60 artisans. In 1935 the invasion of Ethiopia by Mussolini led the League of Nations to impose a trade embargo on Italy. Leather became scarce, pushing Guccio Gucci to introduce other fabrics in the composition of the products, such as raffia, wicker, wood, linen and, jute.
