About the Item
Finding early Chinese Export pieces is quite difficult due to the fact there are so many modern copies. We are thrilled to present this authentic and beautiful necklace, crafted from hand-carved amethyst stones and 14K white gold, all with exceptional quality.
Stored for many years, this magnificent necklace is very well preserved and absolutely eye catching. The large center drop has very light wear with no visible chips and absolutely no cracks. Measuring a substantial 1.22 x 1.66 inches, the stone gradually varies in hue from white to deep violet. The carving showcases an elegant pear motif with fine details, including small leaves attached to the stem near the bail.
An additional six 9.2mm carved amethyst spheres decorate the fine gold chain with deep violet colors. The chain length is a versatile 26.5 inches, which can be shortened by closing the spring-ring clasp at a different station along the necklace. This chain is very much Art Deco in style, fully-functional and 100% original in every way.
