18 Karat Rose Gold Contemporary Drop Pendant Necklace with Diamonds and Emerald
About the Item
This modern Plum Blossom drop pendant necklace is made of 18 karat rose gold and is encrusted with 5 round diamonds. The necklace also features a removable natural emerald drop (3.96 carats, 13.5x7.5mm) that can be taken off. This jewelry collection was designed by Berlin-based oil painter Polya Medvedeva and was featured in Vogue UA. We use top natural diamonds, VS, F-G, and we work with a German gem company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
The sculptural design of this necklace adds extra highlights to the surface of the gold, while the diamonds add delicate blinks. The cabochon drop is open for the light and can be exchanged for other semi-precious or precious gem drops.
This piece is custom hand made, and you can contact the artist to order it in 14 or 18 karat white, rose, or yellow gold.
The plum blossom symbolizes the energy of life as these trees bloom at the end of winter. The composition of the flowers reflects a modern style.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
