This classic 19" pearl necklace is composed of 50 cultured freshwater pearls from China that range in size from 8.5mm to 10mm, with most being 9mm or larger. The pearls have been hand-strung on thick, sturdy white silk and knotted between each pearl. Instead of being strung from smallest to largest, the pearls were selected at random. This has the effect of creating a necklace that appears uniform in size overall. It is finished with a rhodium-plated silver clasp. The pearls are round to near-round and have thick, luxurious nacre. The luminous, translucent fog-toned jade beads measure approximately 8.83mm and are on their original silk string.
