From the estate of legendary writer Barbara Taylor Bradford, OBE (Order of the British Empire), we have a spectacular suite of Jade, Pink Tourmaline and Green Tourmaline, and 14 Karat Gold, Necklace and pair of Bracelets. The magnificent necklace is 29 inches long. It is composed of Jadeite Jade and Pink Tourmaline and Green Tourmaline beads of great beauty. The beads are 3/4 inch (18mm) in diameter. The clasp is 14 Karat Yellow Gold. The two matching bracelets are also comprised of jadeite and pink and green tourmaline beads. The internal circumference of the bracelets is 6 inches and the bracelets are expandable to fit over the wrist. The beads in the bracelet are (5/8 inch) 16-17mm in diameter. The combination of the Jadeite Jade and the Pink and Green Tourmaline Beads is elegant and worn together or separately they make a dramatic statement. And the wonderful provenance from the estate of Barbara Bradford makes them such a treasure! The jewels are most likely the creations of the New York jeweler Tambetti. Tambetti jewels are a favorite of connoisseurs around the world and Ms. Bradford was a great fan.
