LARIMAR EARRINGS ON AMETHYST
No other stone so completely captures the exact teal and turquoise shades of the sea as larimar. Born of the volcanic activity that created the Caribbean and found only in the Dominican Republic, these soothing stones bring the rhythms of the sea to Studio Greytak’s Larimar Earrings on Amethyst. Transparent apatite imitates the crystal clarity of shallow waters. Deep blue opal flashes like the sun catching a cresting wave before it splinters into a million iridescent shades beside the spiritual amethyst, which washes away all worries. The base is a mysterious cavern of amethyst shining tranquil light onto the earrings above.
The interlocked crystals in larimar are strong and resilient. They often grow in radiating or roughly circular patterns that give larimar its signature sun-dappled look. All the blues of the Caribbean from deep teal to frothy white spill through these unique stones. That color translates to a soothing, tranquil energy. Larimar invites serenity into the soul and helps access the ancient wisdom of the seas.
Apatite, too, is a stone of introspection. It is the mineral version of the mythical phoenix, the bird that rises anew from its own ashes.
