14 Karat Yellow Gold Op Art Domed and Concave Rectangle Dangle Earrings
About the Item
14 Karat Yellow Gold Dome and Concave Reactangles 2 Sided Earrings, These came out of my New Open Air Series. They are inspired from the Op art scene in the 1960's. It is a form of abstract art and is closely connected to Kinetic and Constructivist movements. Using geometric designs and lines, gives the viewer the impression of movement, vibrating patterns of parallel lines mixed with open air space then of swelling or warping. You see light vibrating depending what angle you look at them on the dome and on the concave side. These are reversible earrings. You can change the wire hooks yourself and get 2 or 3 pairs out of this one pair of earrings The concave side is sandblasted finish and the dome side is polished.
