Pair of Art Deco Platinum and Yellow Gold Gemset Cufflinks
About the Item
A pair of Art Deco platinum and yellow gold gemset cufflinks, each pair set with two oval platinum links with a brushed satin finish, mounted on yellow gold, each pair set with a central stripe of brilliant-cut diamonds and a stripe of rectangular step-cut sapphires, circa 1920, each plaque measuring approximately 1.5 x 1.1cm, gross weight 13.2 grams.
A sophisticated pair of cufflinks. These cufflinks each feature two plaques made from platinum, one with a line of glittering diamonds running down the centre and one with a line of vivid sapphires. This pair of cufflinks comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would look handsome with a navy-blue suit.
