    A wonderful Victorian diamond star or otherwise known as a ‘sunburst’ brooch dating from the late 19th century comprising of approx 1.50ct of Old Mine cut diamonds. This quaint brooch, measuring 32mm diameter is set in 18ct gold with a silver front, which was typical of the period to enhance the diamonds in a white setting. It’s design is formed around a central diamond around which twelve points reradiate out from its centre. There is very little wear to the brooch, it is in superb condition.     A magnificent, fine and impressive, large antique 1930s 8.13 carat diamond and platinum Art Deco brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections This magnificent, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum. This geometric Art Deco brooch is ornamented to the center with a feature bezel set 1.30Ct Old European cut diamond. The central diamond is encompassed with horizontal pales embellished with thirty-eight pavé set Old European cut diamonds, accented to either end with seven further diamonds within rounded segments. This symmetrical millegrain decorated frame bears four impressive Art Deco swept collar motifs emanating from the central design, each incorporating four swept rays, ornamented with a total of twenty-six pavé cut diamonds. This large and intricate brooch features a paralleling oval border conjoining the aforementioned four cardinal swept motifs, in addition to a rectangular cut cornered border to the outer edge. These impressive borders are ornamented with forty-four pavé set Old European cut diamonds, completing the design. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and catch. This Art Deco brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. The antique 1930s Art Deco brooch in platinum is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
