About the Item
A beautiful Retro period gold brooch set with an octagonal cut aquamarine. This pin is finely crafted from twisted 10 karat yellow gold to form a spiral, with the centre set with a 'light blue' 9.20 carat aquamarine. The clasp is a hinged pin with a secure roller clasp and is marked to indicate manufacture from 10 karat gold. The brooch is likely to originate from the United Kingdom where 10 karat gold was frequently used, however there are no hallmarks to indicate a maker. A stellar piece highlighting both the beauty of aquamarine but also Retro period jewels.
