Diamond and Enamel Butterfly Brooch
About the Item
A diamond and enamel brooch in the form of a butterfly, the body set with diamond, the wings set with two diamonds each, with enamelled yellow fading to light blue, mounted in 18ct yellow gold bearing the Bentley & Skinner sponsor mark, measuring approximately 22 x 17 mm, gross weight 3.66 grams.
A charming butterfly brooch. The butterfly is rendered in 18ct yellow gold and enamel, which is detailed and delicately coloured in pale blue and yellow. The thorax and abdomen of the butterfly is set with dazzling diamonds, and four further bright diamonds stud the wings. This lovely piece comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and is delicate and meticulously crafted.
