Art Deco Onyx, Diamond and Emerald Cabochon Brooch, circa 1925
About the Item
Art Deco onyx, diamond and emerald cabochon brooch. Set with one hundred and six round old cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 10.00 carats, crossed both vertically and horizontally with bands of channel set baguette cut onyx, and the top outer edges set with two oval cabochon natural emeralds with no colour enhancement with an approximate total weight of 2.00 carats, to a horizontally oriented symmetrical geometric form brooch with intricately pierced backholing, the reverse mounted with hinged pin and trombone clasp. Tested platinum, circa 1925.
