A fine and impressive antique 0.28 carat natural blue sapphire and 0.35 carat diamond, 12k yellow gold, platinum set bar brooch; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive sapphire and diamond brooch has been crafted in 12k yellow gold with a platinum setting. The bar brooch features a round cut natural blue sapphire bezel set to the center of the linear design. The sapphire is flanked on either side by a bezel set Old European round cut diamond. Each of the bezel settings are accented with millegrain decoration. This antique bar brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged safety pin style fitting. This 1900s brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. The brooch is fitted to a hinged leatherette, satin and velvet lined presentation box which secures with a push fit clasp. A contemporary gift box in either black or brown may be provided if so desired The brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12k gold and platinum. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition The brooch is fine quality, set with an impressive natural blue sapphire and very high colour graded old cut diamonds. The brooch is a very good gauge of gold and in excellent condition. The original box is in presentation condition.
