Natural Pigeon Blood Burma 1.84 Carat Ruby Ring
About the Item
Pigeon blood Burmese ruby and diamond engagement ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese pigeon's blood ruby in an open back corner four claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.84 carats, flanked to either side by a tapered baguette cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a combined approximate weight of 0.12 carats, all to a geometric openwork gallery with fancy backholing, the slightly sloping shoulders flowing smoothly down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by C. Dunaigre Consulting, Switzerland, report #CDC1408649. UK finger size M.
