Art Deco 0.25 Carat Diamond Solitaire Ring, circa 1940s

About the Item

This ring dates to the 1940s but has strong influences from the Victorian era. The classic and timeless design centres a 0.25 carat round brilliant diamond. It has been estimated as H in colour and VS1 in clarity. It is perfectly set within the claw set collet, and there is beautiful work on the shoulders. The collet is made from 18 carat white gold, and this leads into the shoulders along with the hoops. The shank is then crafted from 18 carat yellow gold.
