This late 19th century French necklace is composed of 18K gold, off round and semi-baroque pearls, emerald, sapphire, ruby, and diamonds and colored diamonds. The pierced decorated, oval shaped frame displays a stunning feature carved mother of pearl panel depicting Mary in prayer* to the nadir of the design. This mother of pearl pendant is embellished with a paralleling sun burst style millegrain decorated setting ornamented with fifty pavé set diamonds, in a combination of eight and mine cuts.
