Antonio Pineda Sterling Silver Thumbprint Necklace
About the Item
The Thumbprint design is one one Antonio Pineda's most popular bracelets. Rarely does one find the accompanying necklace.
This geometric piece is in keeping with the architectural forms often created by Antonio.
The links measure 7/8" long x 5/8" wide. They are securely strung on two rows of metal wires. The necklace is approximately 20 inches in length but is difficult to measure precisely because of the curve of the form.
The necklace is thoroughly hallmarked; made circa 1960. The work of Antonio Pineda is included in the permanent collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art
