    An exceptional, fine and impressive antique 9 carat yellow gold double Albert watch chain; part of our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections This fine and impressive double Albert watch chain has been crafted in 9 ct yellow gold. The impressive large graduated rounded curb chain links are individually hallmarked with the 9ct gold fineness marks (9 and 375). The yellow gold Albert watch chain is fitted at either end with a swivel catch. The chain is fitted with a central rounded ring loop, from which a hallmarked T-bar suspends. The T-bar is hallmarked with the 9 ct gold fineness mark (9.375), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the maker's mark (JM). By virtue of its length, this impressive example of antique jewellery may be wrapped multiple times around the wrist to be worn as a bracelet.     An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian 9 karat yellow gold Albert watch chain; part of our antique chains and estate jewelry collections. This exceptional, fine and impressive Albert watch chain has been crafted in 9k yellow gold. This antique chain is composed of rounded curb links, graduating in size with broad feature links to the center. This Albert watch chain is fitted with the original hallmarked swivel links clasp and T-bar to the center. Each link is hallmarked with the 9k gold marks (9, 375) and the T-bar bears these fineness marks in addition to the maker's mark for S Bros (SBRs); this maker is part of a missing register and can be determined as Saunders Brothers of Augusta Street, Birmingham. The impressive substantial antique Albert chain is also hallmarked to one of the principal links with the Chester Assay Office mark and the date letter for 1881 (s). Such chains with large feature links are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. Condition This impressive antique Albert watch chain is excellent quality and in excellent condition. The chain is an excellent and substantial gauge of gold, with clear hallmarks to the links and the T-bar. The Albert chain incorporates a total of fifty-four hallmarked plain curb style links, in a barrel link design. The connecting links of the chain are comprised of fifty-two circular links bearing a faceted finish. The central ring loop link from which a hallmarked T-bar suspends further features a small chain extension; the extension consists of two faceted links and three curb links, in addition to plain round links. The chain is fitted to either end with a hallmarked swivel clasp. The chain is hallmarked with the fineness mark for 9k gold (9, 375) to each component, in addition to the maker's mark (MD) and Birmingham Assay Office mark (anchor) to the T-bar and the maker's mark to the clasps. By virtue of its length, this impressive example of antique jewellery may be worn as a necklace, alternatively the chain may be wrapped multiple times around the wrist to be worn as a bracelet.     A fine and impressive antique George V 9 karat yellow gold pocket watch; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique pocket watch has been crafted in 9k yellow gold. This antique pocket watch is fitted with a circular antique white face ornamented with black hour Roman numerals and encircled with a plain black chapter ring of minute markers. The watch face further incorporates a seconds subdial to the lower portion. The manual wind watch is fitted with blue steel watch hands; these functional hands are operated by drawing the winder out and turning accordingly. The watch face is framed within a plain yellow gold case, accented with a ribbed crown/winder to one side. The pocket watch features a plain ring loop attachment, conjoining the body to either side of the winder. The watch face is visible via an incorporated push fit catch; operated by depressing the crown/winder. The push fit caseback opens to reveal a plain compartment, to allow a personal memento to be stored within if so desired.
