About the Item

A stunning pair of antique and contemporary 6.02 carat diamond and platinum stud earrings; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. These stunning, fine and impressive Victorian diamond earrings have been crafted in platinum. The contemporary pierced decorated platinum basket style settings each display a feature antique (circa 1900) 3.06ct and a 2.96ct Old European round cut diamond. The four claw set diamond earrings secure to the reverse with a post and butterfly style fastening. The posts are hallmarked with the maker's mark 'DOM', the convention mark and the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor). The butterfly style fastenings have a large surface area to support the weight of the diamonds, and are hallmarked with the 18k gold fineness mark 750. These Victorian diamond stud earrings are supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition These stunning old cut diamond earrings are fine quality set with Old European round cut diamonds, displaying a fine white color, brilliance and presence. The earrings are a very good gauge of platinum and are in excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the contemporary frames. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of diamond jewelry/estate jewelry.
