An impressive antique 0.15 carat diamond and 0.02 carat ruby, 12 karat yellow gold and platinum 'insect' bar brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 12k yellow gold with platinum accents. The feature setting to the center of the bar has been modelled in the form of an insect. The insect’s four wings are embellished with six pavé set old mine cut diamonds in various sizes, totalling 0.15Cts. The thorax and abdomen are represented by two natural pearls. The head is ornamented with two bezel set cabochon cut rubies. Each of the bar terminals is accented with a platinum setting, securing to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp. A stunning vintage 0.32 carat ruby and 0.32 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow and white gold 'leaf' brooch; part of our diverse ruby jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive gold brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with 18k white gold settings. The brooch has been modelled in the form of stylised leaves. The midribs of the leaves are each set with 18k white gold four claw settings, the upper leaf displaying eight round cut rubies and the lower ornamented with seven eight-cut diamonds. The leaves have a textured, fluted design. The curvilinear design secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
