About the Item

With a delicate flourish, this orchid brooch fades from translucent magenta to olive on the delicate, velvety petals. The lines are so seamless that it looks as though this could be a real orchid. This brooch dates back to around 1900 and has what seems to be its original, natural pearl. The Art Nouveau period comes to life through this orchid. It is made up of enamel and 14k yellow gold, elevating the elegance of this piece. Its delicacy is reflected in its size, as it is approximately one inch tall and one inch wide. It is signed Whiteside and Blank.
