Antique Victorian Pair of Tracery Enamel Cuff Bracelet with Asian Motif
About the Item
A beautiful pair of antique Victorian bangle bracelets featuring intricate tracery enamel that depict two Asian scenes. On one side a bird flies through a garden with flowers, and a man with a fan. On the other side is several fans, larger bamboo stalks with birds and leaves. The depiction is with painstaking detail. The cuffs were made around 1880 in 14k gold, most likely in America. They are in excellent shape, with only one cuff showing small dents only the inside of the bracelet. The cuffs are 7/8 inches wide. They are 2.25 inches wide and 1.75 inches top to bottom. They have a hinge clasp. They are about 7 inches around the wrist.
