Italian 19th Century Trapezoidal Wall Plaque

About the Item

An Italian decorative wall plaque with trapezoid shape from the 19th century. This antique wall ornament from Italy has an inverted trapezoid shape, with oval center comprised of a pierced carved floral medallion flanked within a pair of leaves. The trapezoid shape is highlighted by various moldings with faux-marble painting between. Color palette on this piece are various shades of blue, sea-green, brown, sienna, tangerine and giltwood. This 19th century Italian wall plaque is nicely sized at over two feet in height and nearly four feet wide at it's top.
