The Works of William Hogarth from the original plates restored by James Heath. Bound in contemporary leather and marbled paper, spine tooled in gilt and blind. Inner hinges broken and marbled fly-leaves loose. Biographical essay and description of plated by John Nichols followed by 120 leaves printed with 156 plates, and including Beer Street /Gin Lane, Rake's Progess, Marriage à la Mode, Harlot's Progress
