Original Vintage Poster Free Labor Will Win WWII Home Front Propaganda USA Flag

About the Item

Original vintage American World War Two poster - Free Labor Will Win - published by the U.S. Government and the War Production Board as a reminder that the Fascist enemies were using slave labour for their war effort (during WWI and WWII the US Government associated hard work with freedom and democracy, rather than as a struggle against capitalism). Great design featuring a photograph by Anton Bruehl (1900-1982) of a proud welder standing in front of a red, blue and white stars and stripes American flag with the text below in bold black letters against a bright yellow background. Good condition, restored folds, minor paper losses, stain and top right margin, backed on linen.
