Original vintage advertising poster for the iconic drink Guinness Irish stout beer - 5 Million Guinness for strength every day - featuring a smiling man bending a metal girder into the shape of the number five with ease, holding it with both arms and resting a leg on the lower loop with his empty glass of beer and Guinness bottle on the side, the bold red and black lettering below. One of the world's most popular beer drink brands, Guinness is an Irish dry stout founded by Arthur Guinness in Dublin in 1759. Artwork by the notable artist John Gilroy (John Thomas Young Gilroy; 1898-1985). Good condition, restored creasing, restored tears, staining, backed on linen.
