Original antique propaganda poster - The Army Isn't All Work - featuring a great design showing three British infantry men looking towards the viewer, one in his military uniform holding a rifle standing between a soldier wearing a red and white striped football kit and holding a football and another soldier wearing cricket whites with a military jacket and carrying a cricket bat under his arm with men playing football and cricket on the green in the background, the stylised text in red above and hand writing on the side below reading: Apply Drill Hall Ilkeston (a town located in Derbyshire England). Artwork by Graham Simmons. Very good condition, light staining, small restored tears, crayon writing with address of recruiting station, backed on linen.
