Original US film poster for the 1966 film directed by E. Darrell Hallenbeck, it was a film version of a number of television episodes of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. This film also stars Robert Vaughn (Napoleon Solo) and David McCallum (Illya Kuryakin). It was the fourth feature film, and in it U.N.C.L.E. agents Napoleon Solo and Ilya Kuryakin are sent to investigate a plot to develop an anti-ageing machine and the mysterious disappearance of a famous scientist. This poster was signed by Robert Vaughn after a performance of Twelve Angry Men in London. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures. The poster is from the Sohal collection.     Repaired: Good condition, with the colours remaining very bright. Restoration to folds; cross-folds; tape and pin-hole marks on the borders and corners of the poster.. Posters of this age were disributed folded so the restoration to the folds is quite normal. Wear consistent with age and use.
