"Gaslight / Hantise" Original French Movie Poster

About the Item

Original French movie poster for, George Cukor's 1944 Film Noir starring Charles Boyer, Ingrid Bergman, Joseph Cotten. The art work on this beautiful French poster is by the Renowned French poster artist Boris Grinsson (1907-1999) It is also and the best looking poster on this title. The poster is the only example gallery has seen in over 25 year and may well be the only surviving one. Due to World War II the film did not get shown in France until 1946 and had it's fist showing at the 1946 Cannes Film Festival.
