This wonderful abstract vintage painting has influences of Miro and his painterly strokes and gestures of paint in abstract form. The background is tan with stokes of black dark gray and elements of subdued red. It also has influences to the Art Deco period. It bridges so many wonderful periods. This painting is by Peter Keil who is German born. It is dated 1963. There is somewhat of a varnish over the painting as from the time period and painter actualization of procuring the painting. It is intentional that the painting looks like it is missing color. It has been newly museum framed with a linen mat and a custom dark charcoal grey pebbled textural frame. This is a sophisticated painting of great form of abstractions at a great custom framed price. It was lightly professionally cleaned by an art restorer. This is an amazing painting.
