"The Harbor in Moonlight" by Eugene Galien-Laloue

1854-1941 Eugene Galien-Laloue was a Parisian artist well-known for his street and village paintings. This is an oil on panel, signed lower left 'E. Galiany', one of the artists well known pseudonyms. Galien-Laloue was known to use a handful of nom de plumes throughout his career and this is well documented. Often the name signed would correspond with the subject matter he painted. Many beautiful landscape and harbor scene paintings were signed with Galiany. This painting is an oil on panel and measures 17" x 20.75" including the bespoke frame.
