At the corner the christmas tree was been decorated with littles candles and sweatmeat.

The artist Emil Fiala (1869 Moravia-1960 Vienna) was a member of the Austrian Künstlerbund,
formerly Hagenbund, 1915-1937.
The painting is signed 1925 and features the original golden frame.
