Large Italian Micromosaic plaque of St. Peter’s Basilica, Rome, circa 1860, in original frame. Possibly made by the Vatican Mosaic Studio. Very dine quality and detail. Very good condition. Normal wear consistent with age and use. Measures: Mosaic slate 22" wide x 15" high Frame 29" wide x 22" high.
