Flames D'Amour Plate, Erté, 1985

About the Item

Flames D'Amour plate is an original decorative porcelain plate realized by Erté (Romain de Tirtoff) in 1985. This rare plate, realized in Bone China represents a female figure with arms outstretched in a billowing dress with a red flame skirt and a black scarf blowing around her. The circular plate offers an animal print border in a black verge. It is marked with a stylized Erté sign on the reverse. The plate has numbered on the back with the n. series A 3053 and was made in Japan. The plate and the graphic work on the surface are in very good condition.
