Abstract painter Jeff Leonard is passionate about extending optical and luminous colors using resins as his media. His clear, tactile paintings are a choreography of overlapping gestural shapes that reflect, pulsate and shimmer rhythmically." --Roberta Carasso, Coast Magazine, April 2008 Leonard was raised in Huntington Beach and later travelled extensively throughout Europe and Japan. After living in Germany for some time he finally settled down in New York City where he currently resides.

His entry at the International symposium of Arts held in Washington, D.C. in 1969 won him the first award for sculpture. He exhibited throughout Canada and his works have been donated to the purchased by individuals, galleries, public buildings and schools in Canada.
