From the whimsical mind of listed Italian Artist Gianfranco Asveri comes this fabulous large scale painting on board of his collection of characters called "Memorie", 14066. From his beloved dogs who live on his farm to his Mama this is an exceptional mixed technique piece from Asveri. Bold, fun and definitely eye catching for an art collector! This is a new contemporary artist for the NYC art market.
Gianfranco Asveri was born in Fiorenzuola D’Arda, Italy, in 1948. He lives and works at Gasperini in the hills between Parma and Piacenza with his beloved dogs who are often the subject of his art.
He started painting in 1969 which was mostly figurative but in the eighties his painting became closer to “Art Brut”.

The same could be said for Asveri.
Well known throughout Italy, he just finished a solo exhibition in Genoa at the Medioeval “Commenda” and will be presented in Paris next February during the Contemporary Art Fair in Port de Versailles.
Recently, the newspaper “Il Sole 24 Ore”, the Italian Economic newspaper included Asveri among one of the artists to observe in terms of investment in the Italian Art Market.
An appreciable number of famous critics have written essays about his works: Paolo Bledinger, Luca Beatrice, Flaminio Gualdoni and Martina Corgnati.
