Post Modern Marble and Glass Dining Room Table, Switzerland, 1980
About the Item
Monumental dining room or conference table.
Recalling the work of Swiss architect Mario Botta or Massimo Vignelli, with the use of pure prismatic volumes and the combination of materials, marble, glas, steel.
The right-angled thick glass plate stand on a double X shaped metallic structure, and then on four large Carrara circular feet.
The monumental effect is based on the progression from heavier to lighter elements - marble, iron and glass, from the ground upwards.
The condition is very good, no chips, no dents, fading or yellowing in the marble.
