Pair of traditional painted Swedish side tables, circa 1870. Rare pair of rural Swedish side tables, which we found on our travels around Sweden.   Hand painted in traditional colours using traditional methods of hand applied rag work design. Over sailing rectangular 2 plank pine tops, in a green base paint with hand painted veining and tone.  Below which each table has a single drawer with carved knob handle, standing on straight legs.  These have been hand painted to simulate wood grain.
