This set of complementary side tables, entitled "Anthropod Series: Pesca," topped in dappled brass and supported by blackened steel legs, is not just a work of consummate craftsmanship, but, with its two surfaces that fit well together in any number of arrangements, a piece of striking elegance.
Drawing from his knowledge of art and design (in addition to his architectural expertise), Douglas Fanning continually pushes the boundaries between form and physics to create clean, fluid, yet uncompromisingly daring pieces.
